01What is CareerRoot?+
CareerRoot is the vocational-education division of Green Outdoors Global Pvt Ltd. We enrol candidates from India, Nepal and Sri Lanka into vocational training programmes in Romania, alongside language preparation and career guidance support.
02Who operates CareerRoot?+
CareerRoot is operated by Green Outdoors Global Pvt Ltd, a Ministry of External Affairs (Government of India) licensed recruitment agent — MEA RA Licence B-1873/GUJ/COM/100/5/10332/2023. Headquarters: Vadodara, Gujarat, with a branch office in New Delhi.
03Is CareerRoot itself government-approved or government-licensed?+
No — CareerRoot itself does not hold a separate government approval or licence as an education or training provider. The Ministry of External Affairs licence held by our parent company, Green Outdoors Global Pvt Ltd (B-1873/GUJ/COM/100/5/10332/2023), is a Recruiting Agent licence relating to recruitment activity — it does not certify, endorse or approve CareerRoot's training programmes.
04Which courses are currently available?+
11 vocational courses: Professional Chef, Professional Waiter, Hotel Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Attendant and Hotel Receptionist (Hospitality & HORECA), plus MIG/MAG Welder, Construction Electrician, Plumber & Gas Installer, CNC Machine Operator, Hair Dresser / Stylist and Industrial Cleaner.
05Who is eligible for the current programme?+
Candidates aged 20 to 26 from India, Nepal or Sri Lanka, holding a valid passport, with 10th/12th standard education or an ITI/Diploma qualification. Final eligibility is confirmed by our counsellors after a document check.
06How long does each course take?+
Hospitality, hair dressing and industrial cleaning courses run 3 months; technical trade courses (welding, electrical, plumbing, CNC) run 5 months. A mandatory Romanian language course is completed before vocational training begins.
07Where is training delivered?+
Training is delivered across Green Outdoors Global's authorised 16-city network in Romania, including Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Brașov, Sibiu, Arad and Pitești. Your final training city is confirmed at enrolment, based on your course batch and intake.
08Do I need Romanian language knowledge before enrolment?+
No. A mandatory Romanian language course is included as part of the programme and is completed before your vocational training begins. No prior Romanian knowledge is required at the time of application.
09What immigration/visa route applies to the training programme?+
You travel on a Romanian long-stay study visa for the training period. The immigration route after training depends on the specific programme, your status at the time, and current Romanian rules — training or certification does not itself guarantee a Romanian work permit or employment. Any later employment requires an eligible employer and the applicable Romanian work/immigration authorisation. Visa and permit requirements change from time to time — always verify current requirements officially before travel.
10Does completing a course guarantee a job or work permit?+
No. Certification strengthens a candidate's profile but does not itself guarantee a Romanian work permit, visa or job offer. Employment outcomes depend on an eligible employer, Romanian immigration authorities and current rules, none of which CareerRoot controls.
11How are employers/job opportunities handled after training?+
CareerRoot introduces certified candidates to verified employers where opportunities exist, but does not itself employ candidates or guarantee a placement. Any employment is a separate arrangement between the candidate and the employer, subject to Romanian work-authorisation requirements.
12What does the programme cost?+
Programme costs are quoted case-to-case in writing after your eligibility check, depending on your course, documents and intake — we do not publish standard fees. CareerRoot does not charge candidates advance job-placement fees, in line with the MEA regulatory framework; you will always receive a written quotation before committing to anything.
13When are fees payable?+
Fees are payable only against a written quotation and payment schedule agreed at enrolment — never before you have that in writing. The specific schedule for your course and intake is confirmed by your counsellor.
14What is the cancellation/refund process?+
Refund eligibility and amounts are governed by the written service agreement signed at enrolment; no blanket refund is guaranteed, and third-party charges already incurred (embassy, training-institute or attestation fees) are typically non-refundable. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full process.
